Verdict

TRIGG made a winning start in the style of one with a good deal more to offer at Worcester in September, deserving of extra credit in coming from much further back than the other principals. He makes plenty of appeal in his follow-up bid with his rider's claim off-setting his penalty. Tea Boy was runner-up at Hexham back in the spring and is feared on return, as is point winner Nimba for the Mickey Bowen stable. Another last-time-out winner, Tony Joe completes the shortlist.
