GENCHEV was pitched in quite deep for his debut and shaped well in splitting a pair of last-time-out winners when third in listed company at Naas (1m) 3 weeks ago. He appeals as the type to build on that and may well capitalise on this drop in to calmer waters. Montreal is a most appealing Ballydoyle newcomer holding a Group 2 entry and confidence behind him would need to be viewed positively. His stablemate Pierre Bonnard and Hardy Warrior complete the shortlist.
