Verdict

FRESH FADE shades preference ahead of Gavoo in a maiden likely to throw up a number of future winners. The latter chased home one who is already established as useful (and may well prove to be smart) on debut at the Curragh with Innumerable close up in third. He won't go down without a fight, but Fresh Fade also shaped well first time out in a race won by a potentially smart colt in Charles Darwin at Naas and he is open to plenty of improvement. Summer Is Tomorrow is also shortlisted.
