Verdict

A fascinating race and a strong event for the grade. BEAUPORT developed into a smart hurdler last season and is favoured by the weights if taking to chasing at the first attempt. Similar comments apply to Bear Ghylls but he has a long absence to defy, while Millers Bank won a Grade 1 novice chase at Aintree last season and was rather unfortunate on his comeback last week.

  1. BEAUPORT (IRE)
  2. BEAR GHYLLS (IRE)
  3. MILLERS BANK
