The handicapper might have been kind leaving DARK DESIGN on the same mark as when second over 7f here a fortnight ago and he gets the nod in this finale. Wrath of Hector won over C&D on what was effectively his latest outing (unseated start here since) and is feared most ahead of Bernard Spierpoint, for whom Tom Marquand is an interesting booking.
