A competitive handicap but it's impossible to side against Roger Varian's LANKARAN who created an excellent impression when scoring at Kempton in June and is taken to resume his progress after a break. Brains is aother who looks ahead of his mark after his fine recent Bath second, while Double Dealing is expected to take a step forward too after his encouraging Leicester third.
