This race has produced some quality prospects in the past and this year's renewal looks to be no exception. Silence Please sets the form standard with her victory last time out (which has been subsequently boosted) but now must give 3lb to her rivals. Even So is obviously highly regarded and fared better than her finishing position suggested in the Irish 1,000 Guineas, however it will be interesting how much that has taken out of her. Slaney East possesses untapped potential too but preference is for LABURNUM, who is bred to be a top-level prospect and her debut victory suggests she could very well take this on the way to being a group-race performer in time.
