Penny Mallow (8/11), Lily's Gem (2/1), Red Reminder (8/1), Shabba Dada Do (28/1), Lady Babs (66/1), Bonny Houxty (250/1), Dorothy's Flame (300/1)

Verdict

Penny Mallow is making good strides over timber and brings a 2-2 record to this race. She's got more on her plate under the latest penalty however and may need to improve again. The form of Red Reminder's Sedgefield success has worked out nicely and she, too, likely has a big say in this. LADY BABS ran well behind a promising rival in a bumper on Boxing Day and might be able to improve again now meeting hurdles. She gets a speculative vote receiving weight. Lily's Gem also gets plenty weight from her rivals but is more exposed than these and might settle for a minor role again.
  1. Lady Babs
  2. Penny Mallow
  3. Lily's Gem
