Verdict

A small field for this good prize and all six runners can stake a valid claim. Circus Couture and Aweedram are less convincing on current form, whilst Dubai Warrior needs to relax better in the preliminaries if he is to fulfil his undoubted potential. Viceroy Bond is weighted to go close if back to his best and the stable are enjoying a good spell. Elwazir makes his AW debut but he is bred to handle it and his Doncaster second to Fox Tal looks strong form. However, his former stable companion KASBAAN is thriving for Mick Appleby and he looked a bit unlucky to lose his unbeaten AW record last time.
