Excellent second to subsequent Champion Stakes fourth Fox Tal at Doncaster. That can be upgraded given he made the running on a day it paid to be held up. Heavy ground against him last time and his pedigree indicates he will be suited to AW tracks.
Took the Middle-Distance Championship at Lingfield in 2018 but has failed to add to his impressive AW record since. Off since Easter but handily weighted if anywhere near his best and yard are in good form.
Opened his career with two AW wins over a mile before getting worked up ahead of his next start and racing too freely. Beaten since in France when favourite for a Group 3 and clearly has the ability to win this if showing a more mature attitude.
Lost his unbeaten AW record last time when caught wide in a hot race at Kempton for which he was a well-backed favourite. Has winning form at this longer trip and hard to dismiss with his yard having a good spell.
Has had an up and down season with his Nottingham victory in similar company far outweighing anything else he has done in 2019. Visor back on and others look more reliable.
Won a couple of Class 4 events earlier in the year and has struggled in better company since. First two runs over this trip have not suggested he is capable of winning this despite a more favourable mark.
