He stays well and would be close to the best of these on the level so can make his presence felt. Connections went to £24,000 to buy Queen's Soldier after winning a Goodwood 1m3f seller recenlty and he is respected, along with Rafiot, whose fair third on hurdles debut at Kempton gives him every chance in this company. If he stays, winning miler Silkstone could be a danger on his first try over timber.
