Power Of States (11/4), Junior Rip (5/1), Melgate Majeure (5/1), Queen Constantine (6/1), Rudy Lewis (7/1), Olympic Conqueror (8/1), Stormingin (10/1), Molly Mai (12/1), Liliofthelamplight (20/1), Foxes Flyer (33/1)
Yet another competitive handicap card in which the vote goes in favour of OLYMPIC CONQUEROR who showed a good level of form in maidens, and then went agonisingly close on handicap debut when beaten a short-head into second. The likeliest danger to the selection will surely be Junior Rip who has ran a pair of excellent races over C&D the last twice, winning once and then narrowly failing in the follow-up bid last month. Rudy Lewis is also worth a mention after he showed good progress from his encouraging handicap debut when he was also a short-head second at Thirsk last month. Confidence would have been considerably higher in him if his yard weren't in such quiet form.
- Olympic Conqueror
- Junior Rip
- Rudy Lewis
