Fiery Mission will capture plenty of attention as a lightly-raced handicap debutant for Sir Michael Stoute, but even allowing for heavy ground being a contributory factor he was a disappointment in a Carlisle novice (1m1f) five weeks ago. Home Before Dusk and Toro Dorado have clashed previously, and with Danny Tudhope returning to the saddle (was set a very difficult task latest) the former makes more appeal. However, a more pertinent course form line (7f) saw INSURPLUS being a gritty short-head winner (Kentuckyconnection an unlucky in running sixth). The winner promises to be even better suited by a return to 1m and should comfortably cope with a 3lb rise.
