Verdict

DESERT POINT would have gone very close at Perth last time but for running out through a wing on the extended run-in. Well backed that day, he has a fair chance to recoup losses on his handicap debut. Salto Chisco shared the spoils over fences recently and bids to continue his run back over timber. He should be thereabouts, as too should Lexington Law, Joycetick and Sid Hoodie. Horst is very frustrating but will surely come good one day, while Artiste Celebre is open to some improvement on second start for her new handler.
