Forecasts

Lord North (1/6), Neesaan (7/2), Mostawaa (9/2), Ayr Poet (25/1)

Verdict

A poor turnout numerically, although each of the four declared runners are interesting horses. However, in terms of assessing today's race it's difficult to escape the all too obvious form-based claims of LORD NORTH, with his smooth Redcar win (1m, soft) boosted since by both the runner-up Fox Leicester and the third Barys. Furthermore, given his exceptional 36% strike-rate at Newcastle (32-88), it'll always takes a most intrepid punter to oppose a John Gosden-trainer runner at Gosforth Park.
  1. Lord North
  2. Neesaan
  3. Ayr Poet
