Verdict

Phil Makin didn't take too long before making a positive impression in the training ranks, and the well-weighted SCUZEME can add another winner to his tally. He appears to have rediscovered his spark since joining this first season trainer (formerly with David Barron), overcoming a tardy start and making good late progress to vainly chase home Lucky Beggar at Thirsk 16-days ago. With a proven ability on the AW (a course winner in 2017) he's strongly fancied to make his mark in this company. The lightly-raced Rewaayat is an obvious danger, whilst the course specialist Kroy can make the frame.
  1. Scuzeme
  2. Rewaayat
  3. Kroy
