Forecasts

Jepeck (4/1), Dawson City (6/1), Samuel Jackson (6/1), Cobolobo (6/1), Unioniste (15/2), Chic Name (8/1), Zerachiel (11/1), Aurillac (12/1), Courtown Oscar (12/1), Dancing Shadow (16/1), Le Boizelo (16/1), Calin Du Brizais (16/1), Sandy Beach (18/1), Another Venture (20/1), I See You Well (20/1), Mountain Of Mourne (150/1)

Verdict

Jepeck was backed from 4/1 to 6/4 when overcoming mistakes to score on stable debut and we have seen the yard do well withthis type before. However a 17lb rise for that victory looks harsh given the attritional conditions that day and a late mistake by the runner-up. Cobolobo can be considered well-handicapped if taking his second to Kilbricken Storm literally, however his next run probably proved he was flattered. Chic Name will relish the test and is well-handicapped, but it is hard to oppose ZERACHIEL who made a bold bid to land the Lincolnshire National only to be caught on the run-in by a fitter well-handicapped rival.
  1. Zerachiel
  2. Chic Name
  3. Dancing Shadow
