Verdict

As Listed races go this is pretty ordinary and it represents a good opportunity for GABR to gain a first stakes success with his seconds at this level at Sandown and Newmarket this year probably both representing form good enough to take this. Threading has lost her way a little but her best form would be more than good enough to take a hand in this and her yard's horses often spring back to life when least expected. Spark Plug and First Sitting are the best of the older brigade with slight preference for the former with First Sitting carrying a 3lb penalty.
