Verdict

On the whole it’s very hard to find one that has a solid profile here with several looking to be very badly treated by the handicapper and others just simply not in form. Pretty Reckless would fit into neither of those categories but her problem is that she is a very weak finisher and can’t be trusted to see out her race even with the blinkers on for the first time. Handy Hollow is a consistent sort but looks held off this mark and it’s the Jennie Candlish trained pair Candlelight Story and FOR JIM that hold the most interest. The former would probably be better over further while the latter should have won her when well supported a few runs ago and get the chance to make amends now.
  1. For Jim
  2. Pretty Reckless
  3. Candlelight Story
