Of those with more recent form both Calliope and Richard Strauss must figure on the shortlist, whilst the maiden Trautmann performed fairly respectably over C&D latest. Serena Brotherton takes the mount aboard the newly blinkered veteran Itlaaq, but in the absence of a strong point of view we'll side with Becky Smith aboard CORREGGIO. Although posting fairly tepid efforts so far in 2018, the Micky Hammond-trained gelding makes minor appeal from a steadily falling mark.
