A sizeable field, so a fiercely competitive low grade race looks likely. Of those with more recent form both Calliope and Richard Strauss must figure on the shortlist, whilst the maiden Trautmann performed fairly respectably over C&D latest. Serena Brotherton takes the mount aboard the newly blinkered veteran Itlaaq, but in the absence of a strong point of view we'll side with Becky Smith aboard CORREGGIO. Although posting fairly tepid efforts so far in 2018, the Micky Hammond-trained gelding makes minor appeal from a steadily falling mark.
