Hisar (15/8), Western Way (4/1), Lukoutoldmakezebak (6/1), Lotara (7/1), Mr Potter (8/1), Tan (12/1), Vecheka (16/1), Taskeen (16/1), Peny Arcade (16/1), Shudbeme (33/1)
Much like in the opening division half an hour earlier, quality is in rather short supply. The top-weight Western Way does have ability, but that has been displayed over hurdles, and he's tough to fancy after 14 months off the track unless the market speaks volumes. Mr Potter needs placed in front as late as possible, and his wide draw (one) might be helpful if he's dropped out last early. Taskeen is attractively weighted and holds valid reasons to expect an improved effort (AW debut in cheek-pieces), but it is Mick Appleby who again holds the strongest hand with HISAR. Whilst still a 15 race maiden, he is getting ever closer to breaking that duck, and in truth this contest will take very little winning.
- Hisar
- Taskeen
- Mr Potter
