The Philip Hobbs team are flying at the moment and they have a good chance here in promising young chaser RESOLUTION BAY who was decent enough over hurdles but always promised to be better still over fences and that looked the case in his chase debut at Plumpton last month. Monsieur Co was an expensive purchase from France where he won a three-year old chase and there is every chance he develops into a smart chaser for Paul Nicholls. Best of the rest may be Princeton Royale who was going the right way before his 16/17 season was curtailed early.
