NORTH CREEK won over this C&D in June in this grade and, while not able to replicate that effort on turf since, his best form has routinely come on the AW. He may be underestimated in the market by virtue of those turf efforts since but, with his rider's claim, he's effectively just 1lb higher than his last winning mark and could run well at a likely bigger price. Siege Of Boston scored in decisive fashion over C&D last month and a 7lb hike is not certain to halt his progress while Family Fortunes also has scope to get involved in the shootout. High Acclaim and the Stoute-trained handicap debutant Noble Conquest are also worth paying some attention to.
