However, TOMMY G has seemingly taken a step forward on his last two starts and this is weaker than the Stewards Cup Consolation Race that he went close in at Goodwood last week. Raised a couple of pounds since, but soft ground clearly suits the Jim Goldie trained gelding well and he ought to go close at this level.
