Both Shady Glen and Brother Scott have the ability to win races (as shown recently), but generally speaking find those days more the exception rather than the norm. Therefore, with Prettylittlething off a tough mark and Sergeant Pink needing to bounce back from Perth, we seek some real value in the shape of APACHE JACK. He'd have kicked this lot into touch once upon a time, and although clearly badly on the decline over the past couple of years is worth chancing in a poor race from a much reduced mark at a track which might just inspire him onto better things.
