Only just denied over two furlongs shorter than this race at HQ last time, he may get the better of his rivals, many of whom are struggling for peak form at the moment. Theydon Grey is an obvious danger if seeing out this new trip and comes from a top yard so has to be very much respected, while previous race winner Gabrial's King may bounce back at a track that suits. Codeshare is another stepping up in trip, but Great Fighter will do well to complete the hattrick in this grade off his new mark.
