Jack Dexter (7/2), My Name Is Rio (9/2), Lathom (11/2), Rural Celebration (13/2), El Hombre (13/2), Royal Brave (7/1), Confessional (15/2), Gamesome (10/1), Showdaisy (12/1), Invincible Ridge (12/1), Foxtrot Knight (22/1)
Tight would be the best adjective to describe this handicap where it’s fairly hard to rule out any of the runners. My Name Is Rio is a previous winner and Keith Dalgleish knows how to win this having taken it last year and he runs his progressive three-year-old El Hombre along with Showdaisy who will be very dangerous if she gets way on terms for once. Rural Celebration looks to have improved with her runs in Listed class looking good in the context of this but it has bumped her up the handicap a fair bit. In the end JACK DEXTER who has been given a chance by the handicapper is the suggestion here on his old form he would carry this lot home but still has enough zip to make a bold show here.
- Jack Dexter
- El Hombre
- Rural Celebration
