Beverley Bullet (7/2), New Abbey Angel (7/2), Highfield Lass (4/1), Old China (9/2), Leonard Thomas (9/1), Scruffy Mcguffy (12/1), Modern Tutor (16/1), Never Say (25/1), May Mist (25/1), Bertha Burnett (33/1)
Division 1 of a rather dire looking 1m1f Handicap in which making a strong argument for any of the ten runners is nigh impossible. New Abbey Angel arguably arrives in the best form, but doesn't look like the kind of horse you'd want to be taking a short price about, so it's far better to look elsewhere for some value. Leonard Thomas could provide that if able to translate his AW form to turf from a basement mark with Jamie Gormley taking off another handy 7lb, but the vote goes to Irish raider MODERN TUTOR who was a cut above these rivals once upon a time and relishes testing conditions.
- Modern Tutor
- Leonard Thomas
- New Abbey Angel
