He won first time out last season and proved to be a versatile performer in terms of tactics, distance and going. Bluff Crag looks a more difficult ride and connections now step him up in distance in a bid to find the key to him. His style of racing lends itself to needing luck in running and he has failed on that score recently. Today's rider excels on this type and the combination have to be feared. Safira Menina arrives on the back of a successful winter campaign. The mare was unlucky to come up against a well handicapped horse last time. Having gone well here previously, a reproduction of that latest effort will take her close.
