Winner on his reappearance last season and went on to improve and add two further prizes. Effective from 1m3f-2m and rider is 2-10 for the yard. Stable have made a good start to the season and are 3-9 over the past fortnight.
Winner of three races, the latest an amateur riders race at Kempton in November. Yet to win off this mark but ran well from 1lb lower last time and has a fitness advantage on her side.
Had form off higher marks on turf for Paul Cole but recent efforts over hurdles and the AW suggest he has deteriorated since. Weighted here on his turf form and that makes him difficult to fancy.
Winner over this trip last season from a 2lb higher mark. Went downhill subsequently and well beaten in a selling hurdle last time. Rider just 1-25 for the yard who are 3-56 around here.
Winner here a year ago from a 6lb higher mark. Form has always been patchy and hard to call how he will fare here today.
Winner over a mile last season and well handicapped on that form. Became unreliable subsequently but shaped better when stepped up to this trip and wearing a hood for the first time. Stepping into unknown territory as far as trip and style of running, rather than pedigree, suggests it is a risk worth taking.
Winner of a Lingfield nursery for Luca Cumani but has proved costly to follow since over a variety of trips. Runs to a consistent level but one which suggests he may still be too high in the weights.

It is going to be tough for CAPTAIN PEACOCK to give away weight to race fit rivals. However, his stable are in good form right now and he looks better class than his more exposed rivals. He won first time out last season and proved to be a versatile performer in terms of tactics, distance and going. Bluff Crag looks a more difficult ride and connections now step him up in distance in a bid to find the key to him. His style of racing lends itself to needing luck in running and he has failed on that score recently. Today's rider excels on this type and the combination have to be feared. Safira Menina arrives on the back of a successful winter campaign. The mare was unlucky to come up against a well handicapped horse last time. Having gone well here previously, a reproduction of that latest effort will take her close.
