Verdict

Not hard to whittle the field down to just a handful of likely contenders, with Ballyarthur standing out as the most likely principle player. He is certainly worth a saver in this company but, odds permitting, there may be as much value in a speculative each-way punt on KAFELLA shaking up the likely favourite. The Dan Skelton-trained gelding looks a progressive type and with this slight drop in trip in his favour, he doesn't have too much to find to get competitive here. Jameson is another obvious contender and, in representing a powerful yard. is another for the shortlist. With Pleasure and Rock And Roll King may pay their way during the summer Jumps season and are worth noting for future reference at least.
  1. Kafella
  2. Ballyarthur
  3. Jameson
