Verdict

COEUR JOEYEUX has some of the best form on paper in this field, finishing behind the likes of Death Duty and Battleford in maidens so far this season, and if not for repeatedly facing top class opponents he would easily have won a race like this by now. He can finally get his head in front today, ahead of Kolumbus, who has finished second three times in a row now but looks talented and progressive. The well-bred and expensive Persistent is the most interesting of the newcomers.
  1. Coeur Joyeux
  2. Kolumbus
  3. Persistent
