Runner-up that day was ISLEOFHOPENDREAMS, coming from an unpromising position on the inside rail before flying home on the outside to be denied in a head bobber. Despite the extra weight, he looks sure to grab a prize like this at some stage. The same trainer saddles The Crafty Butcher who has been in fine fettle in two runs since joining this yard. He is sure to run another big race in this while Carrig Cathal is an intriguing recruit to handicapping with a valuable claim to aid his chances.
