Once-useful stayer who has run well both previous starts here (including a win). Confirmed return to form with fairly useful 2½-length second of 6 at Southwell (16.5f) last time, typically hung under pressure. Potential for a slowly-run race doesn't look ideal back down in trip, though.
Off the mark in a 1¼m maiden here on final start for Peter Chapple-Hyam last August. Largely out in the wilderness (mainly on turf) prior to capitalising on a drop in grade at Southwell (11f). Building up a good all-weather record and not fully exposed over this longer trip.
Fairly useful all-weather winner for Dermot Weld. Well below that level in a couple of Flat starts for present yard, though does at least arrive fit from a creditable spell over hurdles.
Found plenty to land a course handicap (1¾m) in January. Confirmed he's a better horse on this surface when going close to a fourth all-weather victory at Kempton (2m) last time. Back down in trip and could be difficult to peg back if again allowed his own way in front.
Overcame a pace bias to notch a first all-weather success at Kempton (11f) in July. Back on the same mark following a spin over an inadequate trip on turf at Salisbury last time. Respected but another who wouldn't want this to be run at a crawl.
Low-mileage 3-y-o who is half-sister to a useful one. Back on the up with cheekpieces added when making it 2 wins from 5 career starts in Pontefract handicap (1½m) latest. Could be more to come up in trip on all-weather bow, provided headgear continues to have a positive effect.

Forecasts
Lady Ridgewood (13/8), Mother Dear (5/2), Gemmari (9/2), Charging Thunder (6/1), Big Bear Hug (12/1), Brosna Town (16/1)
The vote goes to GEMMARI, who may be able to dominate this small field. Fellow course winner Lady Ridgewood is feared most, ahead of unexposed 3-y-o Mother Dear.
