Some encouragement from off the pace on first 2 starts over hurdles last season. Shaped as if in need of the run on reappearance/handicap bow at Chepstow earlier this month. Handy 2 lb reprieve sees him drop into a 0-100, and he may well be capable of better this time.
On a handy mark based on his winning form in 2024/25, including here (2½m). Promising 6½-length fourth of 7 in a better race than he need contest at Newton Abbot (17f) on return last time. More testing ground/a galloping track in his favour kept to this trip and can capitalise on a drop in class.
Fair course Flat winner (1¼m, heavy) who progressed steadily in juvenile/novice hurdles (Chepstow race worked out well). Looked a likely improver when down the field on handicap debut over C&D (good, 4/1) in May. Easy enough to give him another chance on return, especially with Sean Bowen retained.
Hasn't translated his useful Flat form to hurdles, his best effort when runner-up on hurdling debut at Catterick (soft) in January. Too lit up on return at Sedgefield (21f) last time. Still potentially interesting dropped in trip/grade, if first-time blinkers/tongue strap have the desired effect.
Veteran who has stood little racing for various handlers in recent years. Showed nothing on debut for present yard following 25-month absence at Hereford earlier this month.
Capitalised on a reduced mark to get off the mark in a modest course handicap (2½m, good to soft) in May. Still looked in form when third at Fontwell subsequently prior to probably needing her comeback at Chepstow last time. This is a stronger race than she won here in the spring, though.
Placed on second of 2 points starts. Finished closer than previously under Rules (flattered) when chasing home an unextended winner at Exeter (2¾m) in 3-runner race on qualifying run. Hardly exposed, though no guarantee she finds the requisite improvement back over 2m on handicap bow/return.

Forecasts
Boyles Hill (4/5), Whatsgoingonmarvin (10/3), Lully Du Houx (13/2), Berkshire Smudge (12/1), Kates Choice (14/1), Dalcassian Girl (16/1), Department Of War (125/1)
Class-dropper BOYLES HILL gets the nod in an interesting race for the grade. Berkshire Smudge, Whatsgoingonmarvin and Lully Du Houx are all relatively unexposed in handicaps and may well be capable of better.
