Thirteen runs since last win in 2024. Is yet to match the pick of last year's form but hasn't always had the rub of the green this campaign. He's on a handy mark and can make presence felt on first start in a 0-65.
Twice a winner this season, latest at Ripon in September. Wasted no time getting back on track when second of 12 in handicap over C&D (good to soft, 7/1) 10 days ago, pulling clear of rest. Entitled to be thereabouts.
Opened his account at Catterick (7f) wearing first-time visor in July and has held his form well since, finishing third at Southwell 16 days ago. Is kept to 6f and can give another good account.
Veteran who raced only 4 times last season, making the frame on 3 occasions. First run for yard after leaving Gary Harrison and can only be watched on first start in almost a year.
Fifteen runs since last win in 2024. Well backed when respectable third of 12 in handicap (3/1) at Wolverhampton (6f) 13 days ago. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
C&D winner who's enduring a lengthy barren spell but has run some good races in defeat this season, his best effort when close second at Pontefract early last month. May have found the 3-day turnaround too much when well held in the mud at Ayr last time, but has to be respected.
Runner-up 4 times during first half of the season and bounced back from a string of lesser efforts when filling the same spot at Ripon in September. Shaped as if back in form when fifth of 12 over C&D 10 days ago. Needs to back that up.
Twice a winner over C&D, including in May, and duly followed up at Thirsk. Largely maintained her form after but ran below-par over C&D last time. Visor replaces blinkers. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.
C&D winner in May but has been rather in-and-out since, looking a shade difficult to control when behind at Pontefract last time.
On a losing sequence and he failed to build on his reappearance fourth at Chepstow for new yard in May when only ninth of 11 there (6f, soft) following month. Not easy to make a case for after over 4 months off.
Cashed in on her much-reduced mark at Newcastle in July and turned in a couple of creditable efforts after. Wasn't in the same form there last time and now returns to the turf.
Confirmed previous promise for current yard this year when opening his account in C&D apprentice handicap in July. Has made the frame on all 4 starts since, all at this track, and he merits consideration with the cheekpieces discarded back at 6f.
Hasn't won since September 2024, though produced one of his better recent efforts when third of 8 at Yarmouth in June. Ran poorly after 4 months off on return and has work to do.
Has offered little all 4 starts this season and is easily passed over. Cheekpieces go back on.

Forecasts
Degale (4/1), Wise Crack (9/2), Showtime Mahomes (5/1), Night Emperor (8/1), Taygar (10/1), Run This Way (10/1), Beauty Choice (12/1), Valentine Catcher (12/1), One Of Our Own (14/1), Too Much (16/1), Delagate This Lord (16/1), Snuggle (16/1), Tilsworth Turf (33/1), Ninety Nine (50/1)
Cases can be made for a few but BEAUTY CHOICE has had excuses this season and is taken to capitalise on the drop into this grade. Showtime Mahomes has been in good form and can chase the selection home, with Wise Crack and Valentine Catcher also worth a check in the market.
