Royal March¹⁹³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: K Brogan| T: N W Alexander

9/1

Shaped with encouragement when second of 8 in a bumper at Market Rasen in April and bought for £25k from Cantillon afterwards. Now makes his hurdle debut and looks stable first string so is one to take seriously.

Form: 2-

Treshnish Point⁶²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Danny McMenamin| T: L Morgan

66/1

Already had a breathing operation before being last of 10 in a bumper at Worcester in August, failing to stay after racing close up until 3f out. Now makes hurdling debut up against several with more compelling chances on paper.

Form: 0

Cape Warrior³⁸

Age: 4| Weight: 11-3| J: Sean Quinlan| T: Micky Hammond| BF

11/2

Flat bred who ran to a similar level when runner-up on all 3 bumper starts, most recently second of 5 here in September. Claims if handling the switch to hurdles.

Form: 22-2

Jessmarvel²⁴⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-3| J: Gregor Walkingshaw⁽¹⁰⁾| T: L Russell & M Scudamore

7/2

Showed promise in 2 bumper starts for this inexperienced rider, shaping better than the result on debut at Aintree before running on into third of 5 at Market Rasen in February. Of some interest on hurdling debut but stable also has another more eye-catching contender.

Form: 53-

Oor Wish¹⁶⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 10-11| J: Bruce Lynn| T: N W Alexander

11/1

Well beaten both starts since hurdling and looks stable second string so is easily passed over.

Form: 4464-7

Forecasts

Eazy Breezy (5/6), Jessmarvel (7/2), Cape Warrior (11/2), Royal March (9/1), Oor Wish (11/1), Treshnish Point (66/1)

EAZY BREEZY is a £120,000 purchase and looks bred for the job so he's of plenty of interest first time up. His stablemate Jessmarvel isn't without a chance, either, so the betting could be informative, while Royal March is another to note.
