Bumped into a promising rival on the second of 2 starts in Irish points. Seemed very much in need of the experience fitted with a hood when third in a Hereford bumper in April but knew much more when making a winning hurdling debut at Warwick a month later. That race worked out quite well.
Half-brother to 4 winners, including useful hurdler Out of The Loop. Put his experience to good use when making all in Taunton bumper in March. Looks pretty clueless on hurdling debut at Sedgefield 2 weeks ago but is turned out pretty quickly.
Dead-heated on second start in Irish points but very low-key start to Rules career at the start of 2026.
Big prices both starts and looks a long-term project.
Pulls hard, even with the hood but progressive form in bumpers last season, culminating with a win at Newton Abbot in April. In very good hands this looks a nice starting point over hurdles.
Nice type and set and stiff task, he showed a lot more than on debut when mid-field in a deep Newbury bumper in March. Should come into his own over obstacles.
€72,000 3-y-o, Goliath du Berlais gelding. Dam, 2¼m hurdle winner in France, half-sister to French hurdler (17f/2¼m winner) Magic Flight. Failed to meet expectations in a Stratford bumper in March and given a considerate ride on hurdling debut 2 weeks ago. One for handicaps.
Telescope gelding. Half-brother to fair hurdler/chaser The Grey Man. Last of 10 in a Worcester bumper in May. Hood goes on.
€38,000 3-y-o, first foal, dam unraced out of sister to smart 1¼m/1½m performer Moon Solitaire, herself half-sister to very smart staying hurdler/chaser Cape Tribulation and very smart 2m hurdler Potentate. Impressive winner of only start in Irish points in March so demands respect.
Improved to make it third time lucky on Flat at Nottingham on return in June 2025 (8.5f). Well beaten in a couple of 1¼m handicaps later that season and with stamina for jumping not assured, he took a keen hold when never involved at Worcester recently.
Dam (c100/h110), 25f/3¼m hurdle winner, closely related to fairly useful hurdle/useful chase winner (stayed 3m) Tarada and useful hurdler (stayed 21f) Marada out of fairly useful hurdle/chase winner up to 3m Kerada. Bred to stay well but did show a bit in a Hereford bumper in April.

Forecasts
Mourne Crystal (4/7), Spanish Stroll (4/1), Quickkick (4/1), Sky Grove (11/2), Arms Park (28/1), Right Royal Rascal (50/1), One More Chrome (150/1), Goliath Flight (200/1), Laios Tresor (300/1), Mister Forb (300/1), Global Fortune (400/1)
Those with hurdling form do not set a high standard so QUICKKICK is offered to continue the good work he did in bumpers last season. Mourne Crystal was impressive when winning a point so he's on the shortlist, along with Spanish Stroll.
