450,000 gns yearling. Wootton Bassett colt who looked a good prospect as he overcame inexperience and late market weakness to make a winning debut in 11-runner maiden at Kempton (1m) 3 weeks ago, staying on to lead final 100 yds. Sure to progress and win more races.

Forecasts

Muqarrabin (5/6), Al Lahbab (10/3), Manolin (10/3), Mawrid (12/1), Vega's Mirage (40/1)

Verdict

MUQARRABIN really got the hang of things late on when making a successful debut at Kempton 3 weeks ago and with improvement on the cards, he gets the vote to remain unbeaten. The market will no doubt prove informative with the rest all being debutants, stablemate Al Lahbab edging the vote for the forecast spot over Mawrid.
