15/2

300,000 gns yearling who left debut well behind with a tongue tie added (retained since) when proving too strong for 4 rivals in a 7f Epsom maiden in July. Bettered that form when seventh in a useful conditions race at Newbury since. Steps up in trip for nursery debut. Yard also runs Lots Road.

Noble Prince^p⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 9-8| J: W Buick| T: C Appleby| OR: 82| BF

5/1

Frankel colt who has shown fairly useful form without looking one of the yard's many progressive sorts, beaten 5 lengths when third in 1m Kempton nursery last Wednesday. Up in trip.

Form: 42233

(1)

Girl Scout²⁶

Age: 2| Weight: 9-8| J: C Lee| T: K R Burke| OR: 82

11/2

Perfect Power filly who arrives on a hat-trick after a pair of 1m Haydock wins in the mud last month, latterly making all by 2 lengths in a nursery. Raised 6 lb but it's likely there is more to come. Up in trip.

Form: 5311

Lots Road¹⁰^{(ex 6)}

Age: 2| Weight: 9-1| J: Rhys Clutterbuck| T: R M Beckett| OR: 69

6/5

Bolted up by 6 lengths from Under Arrest on his 9f Goodwood nursery debut (good to soft) 10 days ago and a 6-lb penalty seems unlikely to stop him with further progress on the cards.

Form: 8651

(6)

Akaraka¹⁴

Age: 2| Weight: 8-12| J: R L Moore| T: M L W Bell| OR: 72| BF

4/1

Has improved when placed in nurseries at Thirsk (1m, good to soft) and Nottingham (1¼m, soft) this autumn. A bit more will be required to break his duck here but having Ryan Moore taking the reins for the first time can only help.

Form: 78723

(2)

Highland Girl⁴⁷

Age: 2| Weight: 8-4| J: Saffie Osborne| T: C Johnston| OR: 64

22/1

Modest form shown in her 3 runs to date, including beaten 7 lengths when last of 4 behind Girl Scout in 1m Haydock novice (heavy) last month. Makes her nursery debut from a mark which demands improvement.

Form: 034

Forecasts

Lots Road (6/5), Akaraka (4/1), Noble Prince (5/1), Girl Scout (11/2), Under Arrest (7/1), The Balearic Sun (15/2), Highland Girl (22/1)

LOTS ROAD had plenty to spare on his Goodwood nursery debut and should take plenty of stopping under a penalty. Girl Scout impressed when winning twice over 1m at Haydock last month and can give Ralph Beckett's charge most to do ahead of Noble Prince.
