Ebt's Warrior^t¹⁰

Age: 2| Weight: 9-9| J: Lewis Edmunds| T: W Muir & C Grassick| OR: 65

15/2

Just modest form in a trio of starts thus far, latest when fourth of 10 in novice at Southwell (7f) 10 days ago. Improvement required on handicap debut.

Form: 354

(7)

Golden Oasis¹⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-9| J: Joe Leavy| T: Robert Edwards| OR: 65

15/2

Got off the mark in 7f maiden at Chepstow in July and returned to form when good third of 13 in nursery at Brighton (1m, good, 16/1) 15 days ago. Races off same mark here and is not taken lightly.

Form: 851U83

(3)

Adoramus¹⁰⁶

Age: 2| Weight: 9-8| J: George Wood| T: Jack Morland| OR: 64

5/1

Thrice-raced maiden who got back on track when sixth of 11 in novice at Windsor (6f, firm) in June. Upped in trip for handicap debut and his opening mark demands improvement.

Form: 356

(4)

Notimetotakeoff¹⁰

Age: 2| Weight: 9-8| J: Rossa Ryan| T: C Johnston| OR: 64

15/2

Well held at Southwell latest but had posted fair third at Kempton (1m) previously and looks fairly treated on handicap debut here.

Form: 035

(6)

Banged Up^p1¹⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: Charles Bishop| T: Eve Johnson Houghton| OR: 61

8/1

Posted good fourth of 13 on nursery debut at Brighton (1m, good) 15 days ago, slowly away. Cheekpieces now added and ought to give another good account.

Form: 0684

(8)

Mr Montgomery⁴⁸

Age: 2| Weight: 9-5| J: S Donohoe| T: Ollie Sangster| OR: 61

7/2

Ran poorly at Wolverhampton last time but had found some improvement at Salisbury previously and may do better now returned to turf for handicap bow.

Form: 960

(9)

Rule Of The Agency^b1⁵⁰

Age: 2| Weight: 9-4| J: D Fentiman| T: T D Easterby| OR: 60

40/1

Standout effort when 7 lengths third at York (7f) second time up. That form is looking increasingly flimsy besides the winner and he has run poorly twice since. Headgear reached for having been gelded ahead of this.

Form: 7397

(10)

King Of Persia²⁰

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: D Allan| T: T D Easterby| OR: 58| D

9/2

Much improved when winning 9-runner nursery at Redcar (1m, good to soft) 20 days ago, well positioned. 4 lb rise fair and is one for the shortlist.

Form: 77681

(1)

Waiting For Archie¹¹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-0| J: Barry McHugh| T: R A Fahey| OR: 56

13/2

Back on the up when narrowly taking 10-runner nursery (14/1) at Newcastle (7f) 11 days ago. Remains feasibly treated and could be a player here.

Form: 577801

Forecasts

King Of Persia (3/1), Waiting For Archie (4/1), Golden Oasis (11/2), Banged Up (6/1), Adoramus (7/1), Notimetotakeoff (8/1), Ebt's Warrior (12/1), Mulvaney's Return (16/1), Mr Montgomery (20/1), Rule Of The Agency (25/1)

It could be worth chancing NOTIMETOTAKEOFF, who looks on a decent mark for his nursery bow and has the assistance of Rossa Ryan. King of Persia and Golden Oasis are feared most.
