Won the Brocklesby at Doncaster in March and posted a good second in 5f listed race at Sandown in July. Has also recorded solid efforts in valuable sales events at Newmarket and Doncaster on last 2 runs, fourth of 17 on latter occasion when sporting first-time blinkers (retained). Not ruled out.

Easily got off the mark in 5f nursery at Haydock in August. Bounced back from a lesser effort in listed event at York when third of 8 in similar company at Ayr (5f, soft) last time. Visor worn there is retained and holds good claims back up to 6f.

Made a winning start in novice at Ripon (5f) in June and has acquitted himself well in good company all 4 runs subsequently, finishing third of 8 in Sirenia Stakes at Kempton (6f) last time. This consistent sort is not out of things.

Belied market weakness to make a winning start in 7-runner novice at Redcar (6f, good) 22 days ago. This demands a lot more but this Invincible Spirit colt has more to offer and shouldn't be underestimated.

Impressively landed 6f Chepstow novice in June. Advanced his form when placed in strong 6f nurseries at York (unlucky runner-up) and Doncaster last 2 starts. This is tougher but he's no forlorn hope.

Forecasts

Social Symbol (11/8), Dance A Jig (3/1), A Bear Affair (4/1), Super Tuscan (13/2), Through The Gate (7/1), Napa (7/1)

Verdict

None of these can be ruled out but the vote goes to DANCE A JIG who holds the edge on form and can double his tally on the back of a good Ayr listed third when perked up by a first-time visor (also worn here). A Bear Affair also brings some very solid form to the table and seems sure to go well, while the consistent Social Symbol is another to factor into this conditions event.
