Age: 2| Weight: 9-7| J: Nathan Crosse| T: Mrs J Harrington

80/1

Son of Gleneagles who raced freely before dropping away to finish last of 8 in maiden at Leopardstown (1m) on debut 7 weeks ago. However, yard's juveniles have tended to need their first run this season, so he could leave that effort behind (has been gelded).

Raging Bull⁴⁹

1/2

Half-brother to 3 winners, including the trainer's multiple Group 1 winner Precise, but looked very much in need of the experience when seventh of 11 in maiden over this C&D on debut last month. Can be expected to know a lot more this time.

Form: 7

15/2

Shaped encouragingly on debut when 6½ lengths fifth of 8 to next-time-out Group 2 scorer Giant Sequoia in maiden over this C&D in June. Possibly unsuited by the track when well held at the Galway Festival, so he's worth another chance.

Forecasts

Raging Bull (1/2), Hmas Perth (8/11), Maximilien Luce (13/2), Yellow Sky (15/2), Golden Idol (8/1), Normanton (12/1), Overhead Drive (14/1), Muscogee Nation (20/1), Tsali (33/1), One Flash (40/1), Alpha Betty (66/1), Activity (80/1), Ah Sure Look (80/1), Johntom (100/1), Soho Dragon (125/1), Silk Twist (150/1)

HMAS PERTH left his debut form behind when runner-up at Doncaster earlier this month, pulling clear of the rest, and he looks to hold leading claims of getting off the mark this time around. Maximilien Luce boasts a fine pedigree and helps to give Aidan O'Brien a strong hand in the race, with Yellow Sky completing the shortlist.
