Landed second all-the-way Hamilton win of a productive first season with Jim Goldie last month. Still in good heart when 4 lengths third at Catterick since, though remains on a career-high mark. Engaged 3.30 Ayr Thursday.
Snapped a long losing run at Musselburgh (1m, good to firm) in June. Might have gone close to doubling his tally for the year if asked for his effort sooner last time, finishing 4 lengths second in an amateur riders handicap at Carlisle (9f). Makes appeal off the same mark here.
Low-mileage filly. Much improved when beating a subsequent winner to open her account at Southwell in late-July. Hasn't been seen to best effect either outing there since. Still relatively unexposed with tongue strap added for first handicap start on turf and looks the percentage call.
Runner-up 4 of 5 starts (including twice here) prior to winning 1m all-weather handicap at Newcastle latest, beating Second Fiddle (entered here on Thursday) by ½-length. Should remain competitive back up in grade off 3 lb higher. Engaged 4.00 Ayr Thursday.
Best effort since finishing third in a course maiden when runner-up in 7f Haydock handicap (soft) in May. Has Kevin Stott aboard for first time since and possibly didn't take to application of first-time hood on first start against his elders here last time.
Notched a second win of the season when making all at Nottingham in June. Hit and miss since, beaten just under 7 lengths at Redcar last time. Back up in grade here, too. Engaged 3.30 Ayr Thursday.
Sold out of the Karl Burke yard for only 2,000 gns following her fourth in an ordinary all-weather maiden. Offered little in 2 starts for current trainer, latterly on handicap debut at Southwell. Plenty to prove returning to turf in first-time tongue strap.
Free-going sort. Built on previous promise when off the mark in 8-runner Epsom handicap (7f) in July. Looked ready for another crack at 1m when beaten 2 lengths over the same C&D subsequently. Respected sent north by the in-form Richard Spencer yard. Engaged 4.30 Ayr Thursday.
Three-time C&D winner who often starts slowly. Made little impression in a selling handicap at Musselburgh last week. Doesn't look in same form as when winning a division of this corresponding event (off much higher mark) 12 months ago. Engaged 4.00 Ayr Thursday.
Finished close third in better race at Hamilton last month. Typically put himself on the back foot at the start when well held on a rare start in a 0-60 at Hamilton latest. Very capable off this sort of mark, provided he gets away reasonably.
Quirky sort who snatched defeat from the jaws of victory at Leicester earlier this summer (hit 1.01 on Betfair Exchange). Added another runner-up finish to his CV in Ripon classified event latest. May again have to settle for minor honours back in handicap company.

Starliner (7/2), Sanafi Zabeel (9/2), Filly Eilish (5/1), Up The Jazz (15/2), Little Ted (15/2), Ice Cube (10/1), Yaaser (12/1), Perfidia (12/1), Penelope's Sister (14/1), Stoic Poet (14/1), Peaceful Spirit (25/1)
FILLY EILISH is relatively unexposed for one at a lowly level and could make her first handicap start on turf a winning one. Up The Jazz appeals at the main danger.
