Goffs Two Million Series Handicap

Maiden winner for the Gosden stable and plenty of useful placed efforts in handicaps since, runner-up over 1½m at York under Toby Moore in July. Too free to fully see it out over the same C&D 4 weeks ago and now drops in trip/grade.

Impressive when successful on handicap bow at Carlisle a year ago for James Owen. Hasn't kicked on in 4 starts since but he's had excuses and it shouldn't be too long before current yard gets the best out of him.

Frankel colt who looked a smart prospect when making a winning debut in a 7f Newmarket maiden in September, travelling fluently and quickening up well. Did little to alter that view at Lingfield on reappearance 3 weeks ago (1m) and there should be plenty more to come, particularly up to this trip.

Low-mileage 4-y-o who improved to win on Nottingham reappearance in May. Backed it up with a good third at Goodwood in May and while his York run is easy to forgive, he shaped as though amiss at Sandown 18 days ago. Turned out relatively quickly with cheekpieces on.

Much improved when making successful reappearance on all-weather at Lingfield (1m) in May and backed that up in no uncertain terms when making mockery of an opening mark of 85 over 9f on turf there in June. Had an unfortunate experience at Goodwood (badly hampered and fell) but he retains potential.

Useful performer in France, successful 3 times, and stepped forward from seasonal/stable debut effort when seventh of 18 at Epsom (8.5f) in June. Steadily-run races over shorter trips against him last twice and he now goes back up in distance with headgear back on.

Very lightly-raced 4-y-o who shaped well (second home in his side) in the Britannia at 2025 Royal Ascot. Didn't run with masses of promise on return from 14 months off at Sandown 3 weeks ago (7f) but this will reveal more tackling a new distance.

Showed benefit of reappearance run when making breakthrough in handicaps at York (9f) in June, showing a good attitude. Didn't have chance the market suggested at Sandown next time but sound-enough efforts twice since and he's edging back to that winning mark.

In first-time cheekpieces, showed improved form when opening account in novice at Kempton (7f) in May. Hasn't built on that in a pair of handicaps since but has had excuses, not ideally placed when fourth of 5 at Ripon (1m) 7 weeks ago.

Kickstarted 2026 with 7f wins at Doncaster and Southwell. Form has levelled off since, though he was better than he could show over 1½m at York latest. Back in distance.

Mid-field in a strong Newbury maiden on debut and has landed the odds next 2 starts, emphatically at Ffos Las in June, before making all in novice at Doncaster. Tongue strap added and he proved to be a disappointment at Newmarket 4 weeks ago. Goes back in trip.
