Improved to make a winning handicap debut at Ffos Las last month before leading close home to defy a penalty at Windsor the following week. Possible the race came too soon or that he didn't stay the longer trip when third of 4 there 3 days later. Worth another chance with headgear on.
Responded well to headgear when off the mark in a 3-runner handicap over C&D last month and backed that up when a decent third at Newbury, albeit a rather remote one.
From a smart family and made the most of a good opportunity when landing the odds in 3-runner maiden at Pontefract (1m) in July. Good placed efforts in handicaps since, beaten only by a useful filly at Bath 2 weeks ago.
Proved a different proposition sent handicapping when winning at Lingfield on return. Has made the frame all 4 starts since, beaten less than a length in 3 of them. Subsequently sold from Sir Mark Prescott Bt for 100,000gns in July.
Produced a career best when winning at Salisbury by 3¾ lengths last month but ran poorly under a penalty the following week, the quick turnaround the obvious excuse. Revised mark has now kicked in, though.
Improved to make a winning handicap debut at Beverley on return and he was again a narrow winner at Nottingham in June. Further progress when just edged out at Lingfield 5 weeks ago and he remains of interest.
Still appeared green but took another step forward when third of 6 in Windsor maiden 5 weeks ago. Clearly has more ability and stamina than might have been imagined so no forlorn hope now handicapping.
Showed ability first 2 starts before landing the odds in game fashion in 5-runner novice at Thirsk. Good third at Goodwood on handicap debut next time and this stiffer track should play more to her strengths. Strong claims.
Winless from 8 starts, though has gone close on last 2 outings at Doncaster and Haydock, unlucky not to collect on the latter occasion having been shuffled back at a crucial point.
Held up off a strong pace when fourth in a Doncaster novice on debut and subsequent efforts suggest he was flattered that day. Up in trip on handicap debut.

Brighton Beach (3/1), Mythological Star (9/2), Edwin Hubble (5/1), Saxophonist (11/2), Asset (6/1), Barbury Boy (10/1), Raspoutine (12/1), Wild Violet (12/1), Box Clever (14/1), Sergei Breeze (20/1), The Golden Snitch (33/1)
The progressive BRIGHTON BEACH was strong at the finish when third on her handicap bow at Goodwood last time, which suggests she's capable of defying her mark at this stiffer track. Barbury Boy is also on an upward curve so is next best ahead of Mythological Star.
