Fair hurdler/chaser who got back to winning ways in handicap hurdle at Down Royal in March. Placed on next 3 outings and shaped as if still in good heart when sixth in maiden chase at Wexford in June. However, disappointed over hurdles at Uttoxeter on Tuesday.

Back on song on first start in a 0-100 when seeing off 8 rivals at Cartmel in July. Resumed winning ways at Newton Abbot (3ÂĽm) 9 days ago before again running well when runner-up at Sedgefield on Monday. Interesting chasing debutant though drop back in trip not ideal.

Bounced back under an attacking ride to capitalise on a reduced mark in a 7-runner event at Bangor earlier in the month and proved at least as good when following up in 3-runner event at Sedgefield (3ÂĽm) last week. Back in trip but should get own way in front again so respected under a penalty.

Runner-up to a promising one sole start in Irish points but it was all rather underwhelming under Rules last season. Showed aptitude for chasing at the second attempt and possibly just needed the run after 5 months off at Bangor (2½m, good) recently. More needed here.

Forecasts

Fairlawn Skipper (11/8), Limerick Leader (11/4), Moonlightinthepark (4/1), Rockstown Girl (9/2)

Verdict

There's a strong possibility this could turn into a match with a couple of these declared earlier in the week. LIMERICK LEADER had the run of things when bolting up at Sedgefield last week and with that same scenario easy to envisage here, Nick Scolfield's 9-y-o can bring up the hat-trick. Fairlawn Skipper can chase him home should he take his chance.
