Responded well to a switch of headgear when ending a losing run at Pornichet (15.4f) in March for Adam West in France. Disappointed on final 2 starts for that yard but in good form since returning for new stable, placed for a third consecutive start at Southwell (1¾m) 15 days ago. Respected.

Multiple winner in Jersey over the years who made the frame in a pair of novice hurdles last autumn. However, was beaten a long way out at Uttoxeter on most recent outing in July and plenty to prove now returning to this code.
Twice a winner at Leicester this season for his new yard, latest in 6-runner handicap in July. Ran well again when third in 8-runner handicap at Brighton (1½m, good) a fortnight ago and should remain competitive.
Proved better than ever when recording a third career win in 9-runner handicap (11/2) at Leicester (1¼m, good) last week. Unpenalised for that success, so obvious player if seeing out the longer trip.
Stepped up on recent stable debut fitted with first-time cheekpieces when fourth of 11 in minor event at this course (1½m) 20 days ago. Just out of the weights on return to handicap company.
Poor on the Flat for Lisa Williamson in 2023 and no promise over hurdles for current yard.
Ran her best race in handicaps when second in 6-runner event (40/1) at Southwell (1½m) 89 days ago, albeit no match for improving winner. Returns from a break off the same mark.
Maiden who failed to make any more of an impact back up in trip when sixth of 8 in 1¾m handicap at Catterick (good to firm, 12/1) 20 days ago. Others more persuasive.
Exposed as modest but he's eased to a basement mark and ran creditably once more in first-time cheekpieces (left off here) when fourth in 10-runner handicap at Ffos Las (1½m, good) 25 days ago, despite not being ideally placed. Well worth a try over this longer trip.

Forecasts
Dinah Myte (13/8), Clipsham Noble (4/1), Saxophonic (6/1), Le Rouge Chinois (6/1), Echo Valley (10/1), D Day Major Winter (10/1), This Rib (14/1), Sumatran Tiger (20/1), Pink Walls (50/1)
SAXOPHONIC has unquestionably been a flop considering his pedigree and price tag, but left the impression a step up to 1¾m may prove beneficial at Ffos Las on his most recent outing and could be up to opening his account from a basement mark. Dinah Myte is unpenalised for last week's Leicester win so is an obvious threat if staying the longer trip, while Le Rouge Chinois has been placed on all 3 starts for his current yard and can continue in form.
