Three-time winner in France who has posted solid efforts in both starts for new yard on these shores, latest when third of 8 in handicap hurdle at Worcester (2½m, good, 7/1) 11 days ago. Dropped 3 lb since and looks worth a crack at this longer trip.

Course winner who posted best effort for some time when third of 16 to Billy Boi Blue over C&D in July. Below that level at Stratford since but better expected back here (6 lb better off with Billy Boi Blue this time).

C&D winner who was galvanised by first-time blinkers when narrowly taking 15-runner handicap hurdle at Worcester (23f, good) 27 days ago, given an enterprising ride and just holding on. 4 lb higher now but must enter calculations.

Fairly-useful Flat performer who opened his account in this sphere over C&D in May and backed that up when a good second here 3 weeks later. Performed poorly behind Betty's Tiara since, though, and has a bit to prove now.
